Detailed Itinerary

Day 01
Haridwar → Barkot / Syanachatti
via Mussoorie · Kempty Falls

Morning, meet our driver at Haridwar and drive to Syanachatti via Mussoorie. Enroute visit Mussoorie Lake & Kempty Falls. Later drive straight to Syanachatti and check into the hotel. Overnight stay at Syanachatti.

Syanachatti Weather: Generally pleasant in summer, temperature ranges from 25–30°C. Winter nights are cold, ranging from 5–10°C.
Day 02
Syanachatti → Yamunotri → Syanachatti
Altitude: 3,235 m · 6 km Trek

Early morning after packed breakfast, drive to Jankichatti / Phoolchatti and start the 6 km trek to Yamunotri (by walk, horse or Doli at own cost). After taking bath in Jamunabai Kund’s warm water and Darshan of Yamunaji, return to Jankichatti by trek. Drive towards Barkot for overnight stay.

Yamunotri Temple: Built by Maharani Gularia of Jaipur in the 19th century. Cook rice in a cloth dipped in the hot Tapt Kund springs and take it home as Prasad. Pooja can be offered at Divya Shila near the temple.
Day 03
Syanachatti → Uttarkashi
Altitude: 1,352 m · Vishwanath Temple

Morning after breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi. Check into the hotel and visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

Uttarkashi: Home to numerous ashrams and temples, situated on the banks of the River Ganga — similar to Varanasi but in the north. Summer temperature: 30–35°C, cool nights. Cold in winters.
Day 04
Uttarkashi → Gangotri → Uttarkashi
Altitude: 3,048 m · Holy Dip in Bhagirathi

Early morning after breakfast, drive to Gangotri. Enroute at Gangnani, take a holy dip in Garam Kund. Drive via the beautiful Harsil Valley — famous for Deodar trees and majestic mountain views. At Gangotri, take a holy dip in the sacred Bhagirathi River, perform Pooja and Darshan, then relax in the divine surroundings. Drive back to Uttarkashi for overnight stay.

Gangotri Weather: Max 20°C in summer, min 10°C at night. Light woolens needed. Temple remains closed in winter due to heavy snowfall.
Day 05
Uttarkashi → Guptkashi / Phata
Altitude: 1,319 m · Ardh Narishwar Temple

Morning after breakfast, drive to Guptkashi via Moolgarh & Lambgoan. Enroute see the beautiful Mandakini River at Tilwara, which flows down from Kedarnath. Visit the Ardh Narishwar Temple in Guptkashi. Check into hotel and overnight stay at Guptkashi.

Guptkashi Weather: Pleasant in summer, 25–30°C. Cold in winters.
Day 06
Guptkashi / Phata → Kedarnath → Guptkashi
Altitude: 3,384 m · 19 km Trek One Way

By Helicopter: Morning, driver will transfer you to your pre-booked Helipad. After returning, car will drop you at the hotel for rest. (Note: Helicopter ticket not included in package.)

By Trek: Though challenging to go up and down on the same day by trek, it can be done if you take ponies while going up. Coordinate well with driver — parking issues at Sonprayag and network issues may arise.

Kedarnath: One of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva at 3,384 m. According to legend, the Pandavas sought Lord Shiva’s blessings here after the Kurukshetra war. The Panch Kedar temples — Tungnath, Rudranath, Madhmaheshwar, Kalpeshwar — mark the other manifestations of Lord Shiva. Summer temp ~20°C, winter can drop to 0°C.
Day 07
Guptkashi / Phata → Pipalkoti / Joshimath
Altitude: 3,133 m

Morning after breakfast, drive to Pipalkoti / Joshimath. Check into the hotel on arrival. Rest and overnight stay at Pipalkoti / Joshimath — the gateway to Badrinath Dham.

Day 08
Pipalkoti → Badrinath → Mana Village → Pipalkoti
Altitude: 3,133 m · Darshan & Aarti

After breakfast, drive to Badrinath. Take a bath at Tapt Kund before Darshan of Badrivishal and evening Aarti. Visit Brahamakapal for Pinddan Shraddh. Explore nearby sights — Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the Mukh of the Saraswati River, all within 3 km of Badrinathjee. Overnight stay at Badrinath.

Badrinath: Situated at 3,133 m between the Nar & Narayan mountain ranges, with the towering Neelkanth Peak as backdrop. The name “Badri van” means “forest of berries.” Average temp: max 18°C, min 8°C. Warm woolen clothes required year-round. Mana Village is 3 km from Badrinath — the last Indian village before Tibet.
Day 09
Pipalkoti → Rishikesh → Haridwar
Tour Ends · Departure

Morning after breakfast, drive for Haridwar via Rishikesh. Visit Rishikesh — the “place of sages” — on the banks of the Ganga, surrounded by the Shivalik Himalayas. Sightseeing at Laxman Jhulla and Ram Jhulla. Drop at Haridwar.
