Proceed to Yamunotri Temple (6 km from Jankichatti) by palki service provided by us. Enjoy VIP Darshan at the sacred Yamunotri Temple — source of the holy River Yamuna. Cook rice in the Tapt Kund hot springs as Prasad. Return to Kharsali for overnight stay.

Yamunotri Temple (3,185 m): Dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. Take a dip in Jamunabai Kund’s warm waters. Pooja can be offered at Divya Shila near the temple.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best time for Chardham Yatra by Helicopter?
The best time is May–June (pre-monsoon) and September–October (post-monsoon). These months offer clear skies, pleasant weather, and safe flying conditions. Bookings open in April — book early as slots fill up fast.
How many passengers can fly in one helicopter?
Each helicopter carries 5–6 passengers plus 1 crew/pilot. The total permissible weight is around 430 kg. Passengers may be adjusted between helicopters based on weight at the time of briefing.
Is the helicopter Yatra suitable for senior citizens?
Absolutely! This is the most recommended option for senior citizens. No long treks, no mountain driving. Palki service at Yamunotri is included, wheelchair assistance at helipads, priority boarding, and dedicated care throughout.
What happens if there is bad weather?
Mountain weather can change rapidly. In case of delays, we immediately shift your Yatra to the next available flying date. For safety, the itinerary may be resequenced. We recommend keeping 1 spare day in Dehradun at the end of your trip.
What kind of food is served during the Yatra?
Pure vegetarian food is served throughout. Jain food options (without onion and garlic) are available. All meals — breakfast, lunch, and dinner — are included at all Dhams except during the Dehradun arrival day (only dinner and breakfast).
Can I customize the package?
Yes! We offer fully customizable packages. You can add sightseeing, extend duration, upgrade hotel category, or modify inclusions. Contact our team and we’ll tailor the perfect Yatra for you.
